Art Coaches

Hey, Sam here, and I'm excited to help you on your creative journey into the world of artful expression! I love art so much, I studied Fine Arts in college (at CSUB to be exact), and received my BA in Fine Arts, with a minor in Business Admin. My journey has taken me to teach art at the Bakersfield Museum of Art, BCHS, Kern Regional Center and Legacy Christian Academy...and now, at Family Music + Art too. Come join me as we explore, imagine and together, shape our dreams into artful reality!

  Sara D.

Sara Drennan began her art career while in kindergarden by coloring with crayons and pasting together pieces of construction paper.  This was the foundation for which she began to build upon all her creative endeavors.  Since then she never stopped creating. Over the years she has developed into an abstract painter, mixed media artist and alternative-instant-film photographer.  Sara's work can be found in public and private collections worldwide.

Although Sara spends most of her time at the "Pneumatic Studio", she can also be found creating artworks throughout California where she lives. Sara's passion for art-making is so contagious that she has also joined forces with other local artists to organize and curate pop-up group art shows. Together, their desire is to create opportunities for fellow artists and to promote artistic growth deepening the progression of art and culture in Bakersfield, California.
